LinkedIn lead generation costs $39 to $99 a month per sender for a sending tool, $99 to $499 for an AI agent and about $400 to $3,500 a month for a done-for-you service. Add $119.99 a month for Sales Navigator Core if you buy it yourself.

The figure that decides it is the cost per booked meeting, and your own hours belong in that figure. Sample in the model below, a sending tool plus Sales Navigator comes to $1,423 to $2,246 per booked meeting once 3 to 5 hours of your week are priced in.

Every price below is quoted from the seller’s own page, with the billing basis, and was checked on 28 September 2026. Every rate links to its source. Where we had to model something, the table says ESTIMATE and shows the inputs, so you can swap in your own.

The five ways to pay for LinkedIn lead generation

There are five ways to buy LinkedIn outreach, and they differ less in price than in which hours they leave with you. LinkedIn ads are a separate purchase with a separate kind of “lead”; they come up later only because other cost guides mix the two.

The five ways to pay for LinkedIn lead generation
Method What you pay a month What you still do yourself
By hand, with Sales Navigator $119.99 (Core, monthly billing) Everything: pick, write, send, reply, book
A sending tool $39 to $99 per sender, plus Sales Navigator Pick the people, write the notes, reply, book
An AI agent $99 to $499 per seat Check its picks and drafts; often reply
A done-for-you LinkedIn service About $400 to $3,500 Depends on the plan; sometimes reply
A full outbound agency (email, LinkedIn, phone) From $2,500 Take the meetings

Tool prices, checked on 28 September 2026

A sending tool schedules and sends invitations and messages from your profile. It doesn’t choose who to invite, write the note or answer the reply, and those are the parts that take the time. Here’s what the tools we checked charge.

Tool prices, checked on 28 September 2026
Tool Monthly billing Yearly billing Unit
HeyReach Growth $79 $63 a month ($756 a year) Per sender
Dripify Basic, Pro, Advanced $59, $79, $99 $39, $59, $79 a month Per user
Expandi Business $99 $79 a month Per seat
Sales Navigator Core $119.99 $1,079.88 a year ($89.99 a month) Per user
Sales Navigator Advanced $159.99 $1,799.88 a year ($149.99 a month) Per user

Prices from public pricing pages, checked on 28 September 2026.

One note: we left Waalaxy out of this table. It prices in euros, and we couldn’t confirm from its page which billing period the listed prices use, so we won’t guess.

One ranking cost guide lists Sales Navigator at “$800/year per seat”. LinkedIn’s own plans page shows Core at $1,079.88 a year or $119.99 a month, so budget for that.

Two costs hide behind the sticker price. Tools charge per sender, so a co-founder sending as well means a second seat.

And the profile itself needs a paid LinkedIn plan if you want personal notes at any volume. LinkedIn Help lets free members add a note to only three invitations a month (checked 28 Sep 2026).

What do AI agents cost?

An AI agent picks people for you, usually from signals and lookalikes, drafts the messages and sends them. You still check its picks and, on most plans, answer the replies.

Public prices run from $99 to $499 a month:

  • Gojiberry Pro is $99 a month for “2 AI agents” and “up to 1,800 prospects contacted/month”.
  • Valley charges $199, $299 or $499 per seat a month on monthly billing, and $149 or $249 on quarterly billing for its two lower plans.

The difference from a tool is who decides. An agent chooses who to contact based on rules you set and data it can reach; you’re paying to skip the list-building hours, not the judgment. If its picks drift from your target brief, you’ll only notice by reading them, which is where your remaining hours go.

Watch the volume, too. Gojiberry’s Pro plan covers up to 1,800 prospects contacted a month, well above the 433 per profile in our model below.

More sends only add meetings if the extra people fit. LinkedIn’s help page lists sending many invitations in a short time, invitations that go ignored or get marked as spam, and suspected automation among the reasons it restricts invitations (checked 28 Sep 2026).

What do done-for-you agencies charge?

Done-for-you LinkedIn services publish prices from about $400 to $3,500 a month. What each price buys differs a lot, especially who answers the replies, so the first question isn’t the price. It’s “who writes, and who replies?”

What do done-for-you agencies charge?
Service Published price Terms we could find
Cleverly “start at $397 per month” 90-day initial term, then renews every 30 days (terms, revised 26 Nov 2025)
LeadHaste, your LinkedIn profile $697 a month per profile, plus $300 one-time setup Its homepage lists LinkedIn as an add-on to outbound plans “from $2,500 a month”; ask which applies
Windmill Growth, LinkedIn Outbound $999 a month Not published for this plan
Valley Studios $1,499 a month Not published
Tactera Digital $3,500 a month; $2,800 on a 6-month commitment “There is no minimum contract period”
GTME (our pricing) From $299 a month, three plans No minimum term published yet; no setup fee

Prices from public pricing pages, checked on 28 September 2026. “Not published” means we couldn’t find it on the seller’s own pages, not that it doesn’t exist.

Full outbound agencies that run email, LinkedIn and phone together start higher. LeadHaste, for example, lists outbound “from $2,500 a month” plus about $350 a month of infrastructure, with a three-month initial engagement.

If you’re comparing services, how to choose a LinkedIn outreach agency lists nine questions to ask on the first call.

What your own time costs

Your hours are the cost most price lists skip, and for a founder they’re usually the largest one. A tool at $79 is cheap only if the hours around it are free.

Valley’s guide for agencies puts the work at 15 to 25 hours a week for five clients, which is 3 to 5 hours a week per profile. Its breakdown for five clients: 3 to 4 hours building prospect lists, 5 to 10 hours researching people and writing messages, and 1 to 2 hours a day watching replies.

Our own ESTIMATE for doing the job properly (a written reason per person, a personal first line, replies within a business day) is closer to 6 hours a week per profile. Those hours are laid out step by step in the full LinkedIn outreach method for founders.

To price your time: hours a week × 4.33 × what an hour of yours is worth. The hourly value is yours to set; the table uses $100 and $200 as examples.

What your own time costs
Hours a week Hours a month At $100 an hour At $200 an hour
3 13 $1,300 $2,600
5 22 $2,167 $4,333
6 26 $2,600 $5,200

ESTIMATE. Hours from Valley’s guide and our own estimate; hourly values are examples.

Cost per booked meeting, by method

Cost per booked meeting is what you pay in a month, cash plus your time, divided by the meetings that month produces. It’s the only number that lets you compare a $79 tool with a GTME plan fairly, and no ranking page we read prices the founder’s hours into it.

The formula. Meetings a month = invitations a month × share accepted × share of new connections who book. Cost per meeting = (monthly fees + monthly value of your hours) ÷ meetings a month.

The inputs. At 100 invitations a week, you send about 433 a month. That 100 is our own weekly cap, not a LinkedIn rule: LinkedIn’s help page on invitation restrictions publishes no weekly number, though some cost guides present 100 a week as LinkedIn’s limit.

In Belkins’ 2025 client data, 18.7% of invited prospects accepted and 1.3% of connected prospects booked a meeting (Belkins, published 29 June 2026, checked 28 Sep 2026). That’s about 81 new connections and about 1.05 meetings a month at average targeting.

HeyReach’s own 2026 benchmark puts the median acceptance at 20.75% across 96,051 campaigns. We use Belkins because it’s the only public dataset we found that follows the same people through to booked meetings.

To keep the comparison fair, every row assumes the same 433 invitations and the same average targeting. Your hours exclude the meetings themselves, which take the same time whichever method booked them.

Cost per booked meeting, by method
Method Fees a month Your hours a week (ESTIMATE) Your time at $100 an hour Modeled meetings a month Cost per meeting
Sending tool plus Sales Navigator Core $198.99 3 to 5 $1,300 to $2,167 1.05 $1,423 to $2,246
AI agent $99 to $499 1 to 3 $433 to $1,300 1.05 $505 to $1,708
Done-for-you agency $397 to $3,500 0.5 to 2 $217 to $867 1.05 $583 to $4,145
GTME, Starter $299 Under 1 hour a month; no weekly call is required $100 1.05 $380

ESTIMATE, modeled. Rates from Belkins (checked 28 Sep 2026); hours are our estimates; $100 an hour is an example.

For the same comparison with what each option leaves you to do, see what a booked meeting costs with a tool, an agency or an operator.

We aim for 2 to 4 meetings a month per profile on Starter, which would put GTME at about $100 to $200 a meeting. That’s an aim, not a promise, and the table above uses the average for everyone, us included.

What the table actually says. At average targeting, every method lands somewhere between about $380 and just over $4,000 a meeting once your time is counted. The lever isn’t the tool.

If better picks raised both the acceptance rate and the meeting rate by half, meetings would go from 1.05 to about 2.4 a month, and every cost per meeting in the table would fall by more than half. That’s why we spend the hours on who to invite.

Run it with your own numbers. Take last month’s figures from your own profile: invitations sent, how many were accepted, and how many of those new connections ended in a booked meeting.

Suppose (an example, not a benchmark) you sent 300, 75 were accepted and 2 booked. That’s 25% acceptance and about 2.7% of new connections booking, both well above the Belkins average.

At 433 invitations a month those rates give about 2.9 meetings, and $199 of tool and Sales Navigator fees plus 4 hours a week at $100 an hour comes to about $669 a meeting. If your own rates look like that, a tool is the cheaper answer, and you should keep doing it yourself.

We don’t yet have enough weeks of our own outreach logged to add real acceptance and meeting rates here. Until we do, the GTME row uses the same average as every other row. That’s the only fair way to show it.

The cost nobody lists: a restricted account

LinkedIn’s help pages say members who use third-party automation tools “risk having their accounts restricted or shut down”. Most of the tools, agents and done-for-you services in this article send through automation of some kind, GTME included, so ask each one how it sends and assume this cost applies.

The smallest version is an invitation restriction, which LinkedIn Help says “typically lasts one week” (checked 28 Sep 2026). A lost week costs about $46 of idle fees on $199 a month of tool and Sales Navigator fees, and about $69 on a $299 service, before the pipeline you didn’t build that week. The largest version, a profile shut down for good, can’t be priced, and nobody should tell you otherwise.

Ask any provider what they do on the day it happens. Our answer: we pause all sending within 24 hours, tell you the same day and credit the paused days on your next invoice. The full protocol is in how we handle a restricted account.

Why LinkedIn cost-per-lead numbers disagree

Cost guides quote LinkedIn cost-per-lead figures from $75 to several hundred dollars, and most of them are measuring different things. Three reasons explain almost all of the gap.

  1. Weighted versus median. One 2025 dataset of 138 B2B advertisers and $57.6M of ad spend gives two answers from the same data: $202 a lead spend-weighted, and $376 for the advertiser in the middle (Metadata.io, checked 28 Sep 2026). Big spenders pay less per lead and pull the weighted figure down.

  2. Different years and no dates. One widely linked guide gives $75 a lead from an undated industry table. An undated figure can’t be compared with 2025 data.

  3. Different kinds of “lead”. An ad lead is a form fill; an outreach “lead” is a reply or a conversation. Even outreach reply rates use different bases: Belkins counts replies as a share of new connections (17.6%), while HeyReach’s benchmark counts replies per conversation started (25.19% on average). Always check what the percentage is a percentage of.

For outreach, skip cost per lead and use cost per booked meeting. It’s the one number that means the same thing on every page.

How to choose by deal size

Pick the method by what a first meeting is worth to you. A meeting’s value is roughly your deal size times the share of first meetings that become customers.

At $299 a month, GTME’s Starter plan, most B2B deals pay the fee back in a single sale. The math gets tighter the smaller your deal size and the lower your close rate, so a tool or doing it by hand can still be the better buy if a meeting is worth very little to you.

If you need new buyers rather than the ones already in your network, Signal adds buying signals from $699 a month. GTME’s pricing has the full scope of all three plans. For the targeting side of the same decision, see LinkedIn outreach for SaaS founders.

Common questions

Should I pay per meeting or a monthly retainer?

Every published price in this article is monthly, and none of the prices we found is per meeting. Per-meeting pricing moves risk to the seller, but it also gives them a reason to book anyone who’ll take a call, so ask how a “meeting” is defined before you sign.

Are there setup fees?

Some. LeadHaste lists a $300 one-time setup on its LinkedIn profile plan, and Cleverly’s terms mention a setup fee that can be waived. Tactera and GTME list none.

Do I need Sales Navigator?

Not strictly, but it saves hours. Its filters find people who changed jobs or posted recently, and Core costs $119.99 a month.

Also, LinkedIn Help says a free account can add a note to only three invitations a month, so any real volume of personal notes needs a paid plan.

Is a minimum term normal?

It varies. Cleverly’s terms set a 90-day initial term, LeadHaste lists a three-month initial engagement for its outbound plans, and Tactera says there’s no minimum. GTME hasn’t published a minimum term yet; ask us on the call before you sign.
